Its been a wonderful time here in Boston. Full of adventure and excitement, reminiscing with old friends, and making new ones... ahhh, I am going to miss this place, as always.
The other night, we were sitting in my friend Colin's apartment and I heard a ton of sirens. I figured, well maybe there are just a lot of sirens in Boston. He said we were right near the fire station and that was probably why. A few min later he gets a call from a friend who informs us that there was an accident at the subway station just a few blocks away. When we turned on the news to find out what happened, we learned that apparently a subway train operator was texting his girlfriend and ran into the back of another train! This was the same stop that I got off of just a few hours earlier.
Here is a picture I quickly captured of all the ambulances lined down the street waiting to take people to the hospital. Thankfully, no one was killed just a few injured.
Friday night night we headed over to a party in Cambridge - lots of fun. Then to the bar after that - More fun.
Saturday, I did some slight exploring around the neighborhood I am staying in. Took some pictures of all the beautiful and wealthy peoples homes. (This time of year is perfect for pictures) I got to catch up with an old neighbor and friend I haven't seen in much too long :-) Then we went to dinner in the south end last night, and watched Slumdog Millionaire - Loved that movie!
So, today I prepare myself for ICELAND!! I am very excited. I will be taking off at about 9:30 pm, and will hopefully meet up with some fellow studio-ers that will also be taking off from boston on the same flight with me. I will get to Iceland tomorrow morning at 6:30 am |2:30 am Michigan time| We are going to hit up the Blue Lagoon and take off for Denmark around 1:15 pm |9:15 am MI time|
I put the world time clocks on the side so you can kinda see what time it is where I am going to be. Anyway, I need to start getting ready for the day! Heading out to brunch at this amazing little place down the street. I will leave you with a few pictures of Beacon Hill.
